Craftsmanship.
Every MR.DENIM piece is engineered with meticulous attention to detail and uncompromising quality. However, the true longevity of premium denim and luxury fabrics relies on the care they receive after leaving our workshop.
Proper garment care not only extends the life of the fabric but also preserves the original fit, protects deep indigo hues, and minimises environmental impact. Less washing, lower temperatures, and conscious maintenance transform everyday clothing into lifelong staples.

The Art of
Washing Denim.
Raw and selvedge denim require specific attention. Over-washing degrades fibres and accelerates colour loss. Follow these steps to maintain the perfect wash and fit.
Wash Less Often
Wait at least 10 wears before the first wash. Spot clean minor stains with a damp cloth and mild soap instead of running a full machine cycle.
Cold & Inside Out
Always turn jeans inside out to protect the outer dye. Wash on a delicate cycle using cold water (maximum 30°C) and a colour-safe detergent.
Air Dry Only
Never tumble dry denim. Excessive heat damages elastane fibres and shrinks the cotton. Hang naturally away from direct sunlight.
Crisp Cottons &
Breathable Linens.
Our shirts and tops are crafted from premium organic cottons and lightweight linens. Preserving their structure and softness requires gentle handling and proper ironing techniques.
Shop ShirtsWashing Instructions
Machine wash warm (maximum 40°C) with similar colours. Avoid overcrowding the washing machine, which causes deep wrinkles and friction damage. Do not use chlorine bleach — it breaks down natural fibres and causes yellowing over time.
Drying & Ironing
Remove shirts immediately after the cycle ends. Shake gently and hang on a wooden or padded hanger to air dry. Iron while the fabric is slightly damp using the correct heat setting (high for cotton, medium for linen) and steam for best results.
Button & Collar Care
Unbutton all buttons before washing to prevent stress on the button threads. Iron collars last, pressing from the inside first, then the outside. Use a pressing cloth on delicate fabrics to avoid shine marks.
Delicate Fabrics &
Premium Finishes.
Our tailored pieces, outerwear, and delicate knitwear require specific attention to maintain their structural integrity and premium finishes.
-
Rest Between Wears
Allow wool and tailored garments to breathe for 24 hours between wears to let fibres recover their natural shape and release odours.
-
Professional Dry Cleaning
Tailored jackets, coats, and silk pieces should only be professionally dry cleaned. Spot clean minor stains when possible to reduce trips to the cleaner.
-
Steam Over Ironing
Use a quality garment steamer for delicate knits and structured jackets. Steaming refreshes and de-wrinkles without applying direct heat to the fabric surface.

Preserve The
Perfect Fit.
-
01
Proper Hanging
Use broad wooden or padded hangers for tailored jackets, heavy shirts, and outerwear. Avoid wire hangers, which distort the shoulders and break down the fabric over time.
-
02
Proper Folding
Heavy knitwear and premium denim should be folded rather than hung. Hanging heavy knits causes them to stretch vertically and lose their tailored shape over time.
-
03
Seasonal Storage
Before storing out-of-season clothing, ensure all items are completely clean. Use breathable cotton garment bags and cedar blocks to prevent odours and repel moths.
Care Better.
Wear Longer.
Sustainable fashion begins after the purchase. By washing your garments less frequently, using colder water, and air drying instead of tumble drying, you significantly reduce your carbon footprint while preserving the life of the fabric. Less waste, longer lifespan, responsible luxury.
